Leave it to J.Crew to revamp the chino into a hot summer must-have. The all American retailer has chopped the legs off the boring prep school classic and created the most flattering shorts I've ever purchased. With a three-inch rise and relaxed fit, the chino short shows just enough leg without having to worry what mom would think. Good news is they're now on sale for under $35. Better news? They come in the perfect summer brights like neon peach, bright violet, and my favorite - lemon zest.
