{Fashion Friday 5} Totally TAudrey

When jewelry designer Tiffany Ortiz asked if I would model for her new jewelry campaign I was totally flattered, and of course said yes! Besides being transformed into one of her glamorous TAudrey girls, I loved getting to work alongside fellow blogger The Fashion Poet, and college friend (and former beauty queen!) Jaife.  Let's just say there was no shortage of laughs on set. Tiffany was one of the very first designers I featured here on the blog back in 2010. My oh my, how we've both grown in three years. Cheers to great friends, good laughs, and lots and lots of jewelry! Check out the new TAudrey.com where you can shop for my 5 must-have pieces featured below.

Tribal and Tropical at #4SeasonsOfStyle

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of hosting the Style Sessions: No Sweat Summer Style event at the Four Seasons Miami, so here I am finally sharing the photos with you! The stylish Sunday brunch/shopping extravaganza brought out a great group of ladies eager to learn what's hot haute for summer from our panel of experts, including Beauty for Real Founder Leslie Munsell, The Snob Magazine Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Gomez, and Dress for Success Miami Executive Director Sonia Jacobson. Best take away from our chat? Never ever ever everrrr wear flip flops to work. Ever. (Get it?)  A few cocktails, shopping, and too many (delectable) calories later we shopped some more and were treated to braids from the pink ladies of Blo Midtown. Fabulosity aside, the afternoon was extra sweet because we raised funds for a cause close to my heart, Dress for Success Miami.

Big thanks to all of our sponsors who treated everyone with maj goodies! Swag bags were practically a summer starter kit with essentials like Maaji bikinis from The Orchid Boutique, Makeup from Beauty for Real, Fake Bake Tanning Lotion, Products from Tiare Hair, Whish Hair Inhibiting Wipes, and Gift Certificates from Edge Steak and Bar, Mia Shoes, and Shawlsmith London

Dress: River Island | Shoes: Mia Shoes 'Lauren' c/o | Necklace: c/o TheOrchidBoutique.com
Bracelet: H&M (recent)  | Ring: Forever 21 | Nail Polish: Essie 'Butler Please'

Stylish Panelists: Leslie Munsell, Jeffrey Gomez, Kelly Saks, and Sonia Jacobsson

It's never a party without The Wordy Girl aka Maria Tettamanti

There was no lack of chic summer clothing with Ohm Boutique in the house.

Mia Shoes setup in our pop-up shop with summer essentials: single soles, gladiators, and platforms, oh my!

Miami Fashion Bloggers, represent! Kristin, Charnele & Maria sporting their Sunday best.

TAudrey designer Tiffany Ortiz was the epitome of effortless chic in a sunny frock.

If I said brunch from Edge Steak & Bar was delicious, it would still be an understatement. Major yum!

Beauty for Real's light up lip gloss makes me smile THIS big! (Seriously, put on some pinkini and try not to smile.)

{Beauty Buzz} Miami: Emena Spa Giveaway!

Ever needed a vacation from your vacation? Not that I didn't love every second of my California vacay, but after 10 days on the west coast I have to say it's been a rough week for me. I'm jet lagged. My spray tan has  dulled. My hair has been sitting in a top-knot all week. (Can I be more lazy?!) Needless to say, I am counting the minutes until my appointment at Emena Spa this afternoon. I've been a loyal client for years, and if you've ever asked me about my skincare routine I've undoubtedly sent you right over to my girl Mirzza. Owner Christina Kesaris, who doubles as a Greek Goddess, has created the perfect venue for relaxation and rejuvenation in the heart of Miami's Design District.

Orange You Glad?

A couple of months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Neiman Marcus' Fashion DirectorKen Downing, while he was in Miami to style a spring fashion show. (Impeccable style and unbelievably kind!) Of all the trends he presented throughout the show, one in particular stuck out to me. Orange, in every shade, "think safety cone," he declared. This sheer blouse c/o The Orchid Boutique is a must-have, with the added bonus that it doubles as a swimsuit cover-up. The necklace, also from the South Beach swimwear mecca, had to be mine when I saw it. Statement necklaces are my thing. I love how they can transform a simple t-shirt or blouse from casual to ultra chic. Love the look? You'll be able to shop for other great summer staples from The Orchid Boutique tomorrow at Style Sessions! (Hint hint, there may be a special something from them in the gift bags.) Blue Skies & Baseball Caps

Blazer c/o Hoss Intropia, available at Bloomingdale's Aventura
Shorts by J Crew (similar)
Heels by Steve Madden
Hat by H&M
Diesel Watch c/o Watchco.com

In the 4th grade I attended my first ever slumber party. We dressed up and danced to the Spice Girls. I, of course, was Posh. Fast forward 16 years and I'm on TV telling everyone this season's hottest trend is "sporty spice." (Local 10 Video) While I think we can credit the Olympics for the recent popularity of athletic-inspired garb, I'll give it to Mel C. Thinking sweatpants? Not cute, unless they look like this
