Kelly's Picks: A Guide for Lovers

I spent my Valentine's Day celebrating the marriage of one of my dearest friends at Coral Gables' famed Biltmore Hotel. We were surrounded by so much love, there was no other place I would have rather been. Coincidentally, this is the second year in a row that Eric and I spend V-Day at a wedding. (He's had it so easy!) Check my instagram for photos from the special day.

How did you spend the love-filled holiday? If you've run out of romantic gestures, or just need to drown your single sorrows, here are some of my favorite things that are sure to spread that loving feeling.

1. Always Love Yourself First
The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne recently underwent a $2 Million spa renovation (gorge!) and is offering a romance themed spa menu through the end of February. I always have to show myself love before anyone else, so I'd go for the "speed dating" package, which offers you a little TLC from head-to-toe. For $199 you'll indulge in a 25-Minute Signature Massage, 25-Minute Refresher Facial, Polish Change for Hands, and Shampoo and Style. Spend the day and enjoy poolside lunch at the delish Cantina Beach. (Must have: guac & chips!) There's nothing that a day of pampering at the Ritz can't fix, trust me. For reservations call (305) 365-4197.

2. Say it in Gold
It's no secret that one of my favorite accessories is my nameplate necklace by T'Audrey. Now you can declare your relationship status in gold, which is way more chic than on Facebook. Choose from phrases like "single" or "taken", or design your own featuring you & your honey's anniversary and initials. $44 - $75, available at www.taudrey.com.

3. A Little Black Panty
Nothing says "I love you" like some sassy lingerie... or does that say something else? Either way, no one does it better than Miami native Priscilla M. Codinach of Priscilla Jade. The designer has turned the classic little black panty into a lace work of art, crafting each piece lovingly by hand in her home studio. The answer to every woman's LBD, meet the LBP. Starting at $18 on www.priscillajadelingerie.com.

4. I Want Candy
If you're the type that can't wait for Valentine's Day just to enjoy a 24-hour sugar rush, this one's for you. Tennis star Maria Sharapova has turned her passion for sugary confections into a candy collection called Sugarpova. The premium candy line showcases Maria's fun, fashionable and sweet personality with lip-shaped gummy candies in an array of flavors. The collection also offers adorable limited-edition accessories (earrings, necklaces, hair pins,) designed in collaboration with Henri Bendel. The sweetest part is that a portion of all sales benefit Maria's charitable foundation.

5. Dress Him Up
There's nothing worse than having a partner whose style isn't on-par with your own. Treat your beau to a fresh new look, or just style him with your personal touch at Midtown's new menswear "anti-boutique" Supply & Advise. Think cool, classic, no-fuss vintage style. (See: Steve McQueen, Don Draper.) If you plan on traveling soon take advantage of their outerwear sale, currently 40% off. Find them on Facebook, or visit the brick & mortar located at 3322 N. Miami Avenue in Miami's Midtown neighborhood.
