Bold. Playful. Glamorous. Whimsical. All words that come to mind when I think of Alice + Olivia. I've been a fan of the brand designed by girl boss, super mom, designer, and CEO, Stacey Bendet for as long as I can remember. Stacey's love for music, art, culture and vintage fashion inspired her to create A+O back in 2002, the very same reasons for which I fall in love with her designs time and again. Probably best characterized by its shameless use of color, bold prints, and luxe textiles, Alice + Olivia caters to women who appreciate fashion and know it shouldn't be taken too seriously.
With over 30 boutiques in major cities around the world, A+O has finally opened their doors in Miami! The new boutique made its debut just a few weeks ago in the Miami Design District, just across the street from Theory, and a short walk from Michael's Genuine. Though the current store location is a temporary space, Bendet's signature is evident the moment you walk through the door. With eye-catching pop art, luxe velvet curtains lining the fitting rooms, and a seating area styled with cozy vintage chairs and the brand's eponymous candy collection, the world of Alice + Olivia has come to life at 140 NE 40th Street.
I recently visited the store to browse the latest collection, and loved so many pieces - from a velvet kaftan, to metallic details, and these incredible embroidered jeans.
