COACH 1941 Spring

Florals for spring may not be groundbreaking, but when done by Stuart Vevers for the new COACH 1941 collection they're not just fresh, they're the epitome of cool. This is the second ready-to-wear collection Vevers delivers for Coach, and while I loved Fall '15, this season offers a more wearable selection for a South Florida customer. From bright pops of color to mix-n-match floral and animal prints, Coach 1941 has brought the heritage brand to the forefront of fashion while honoring its rich history of leather goods.

Much has changed for the brand that was founded as a family-run workshop in New York City 75 years ago.  'The original American house of leather' became an icon of accessible luxury recognized around the world. But it nearly became a victim of its own success when the marketplace became oversaturated with monogram canvas accessories circa 2005. (I'll never forget saving up to buy my first Coach wallet when I was in 11th grade. It was my first 'designer' purchase - and it was hot pink. Sigh.)

In just over two years, Vevers has breathed new life into the brand by seamlessly blending modern design with Coach's all-American aesthetic. In addition to introducing Coach 1941, the house is celebrating their 75th anniversary by reintroducing their classic Saddle Bag. From floral appliqués and fringe, to hair calf and exotic leathers - the timeless bag is revisiting the past to welcome Coach into the future.
