Festival Style in the City

Experiencing festival FOMO? With an endless assortment of gladiator sandals, flash tats and flower crowns flooding Instagram feeds over the past two weeks  it’s hard to escape the phenomenon that  is a music (err, fashion?) festival. But the truth is you don’t need to jet to Palm Springs to rock the boho princess look. In Miami you can take a jaunt down to the Wynwood Walls for a selfie-sesh, or if you’re actually into the music thing check out Lagniappe – located at the intersection of Midtown, Wynwood and Design District, the laid back lounge offers live music every night. The outdoor terrace is illuminated by bistro lights and strewn with mismatched patio furniture across a dirt floor, which is practically like being at a festival (sans the giant butterfly and Ferris wheel.)

With my Express fringe booties, floppy hat, and tribal print maxi dress I was channeling maj indie music vibes last week. This maxi dress is light and airy and easily transforms into a high-low top by tucking it into some denim shorts and tying a knot at the side. Hippies love to layer, after all.
