On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

A classic line from one of my favorite films, Mean Girls. These days my Wednesdays are for wedding planning (I cannot believe we are less than three months out!) which means running errands, meeting with vendors, organizing contracts and invoices, and generally trying to keep my sanity. Thank goodness for my sister/bridesmaid/assistant wedding planner who has been really great about keeping me on schedule with deadlines. I generally have no sense of time so this has been my saving grace.

Busy days require functional attire and right now I’m all about these soft pink Express jean leggings. They’re just as comfortable as leggings but with the structure of jeans, which is basically a lazy girl life hack. (Keep the leggings in the gym, ladies.) I loved adding some pastel denim to my wardrobe, and this pink shade totally screams blushing bride. I’m crazy about off the shoulder tops right now and this simple white cotton blouse from Express is the perfect summer staple to wear with anything from skinny jeans, to shorts and maxi skirts. Of course I always have to add a glam touch to even the most casual of outfits, so a chic nude heel is a must. My new Stuart Weitzman ‘Whichway’ sandal is currently in heavy rotation – it's basically a platform version of the beloved ‘Nudist’.
