Coral Gables Fashion Week Kicks Off at Cattiva Boutique this Thursday!
The first-ever Coral Gables Fashion Week is here! Join me this Thursday, March 19th from 6 to 8pm at Cattiva Boutique as we kickoff three days of festivities with a Gables' Night Out shopping event. Sip on champagne and enjoy complimentary hair styling by Doperdoll Salon while shopping the latest looks from designers like Torn by Ronny Kobo, Dolce Vita, Betsy Moss and Amanda Uprichard. 10% of the evening's proceeds will benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Having spent part of my childhood in the Gables, and once again calling The City Beautiful home, I'm really excited to be part of an event celebrating fashion in my own backyard (literally!) Turquoise Waters and Coral Sunsets
While browsing the racks at Shop Splash in South Miami a couple of weeks ago I stopped abruptly when I found this chic lace jacket and pencil skirt. The fabric was delicate, but the color vibrant. It's the typical edgy-yet-elegant aesthetic that is the hallmark of Alexis, and very much representative of my own personality. Needless to say I couldn't wait to style this look for the camera. Splash has such a great selection of Alexis pieces, it's my new go-to when I'm shopping for one of my favorite labels.
